Talent development

Windmöller runs a talent management programme to promote the individual development of specific employees. Individual development goals are agreed upon with the participants with the aim of achieving these within twelve months. Seminars and internal support structures such as project work and a mentoring scheme aim to support the achievement of these goals. Each participant is assigned an internal mentor, for example from the management team, who shares his or her experience with the individual and supports them in achieving their goals. A further objective of the programme is the development of various projects which can then be integrated into business processes.

We encourage independent and creative work methods amongst our younger employees and give them the opportunity to complete demanding projects on their own.

Further training and education

More than anything, our employees are people and are challenged and encouraged to develop their individual abilities further in a range of different areas. The Windmöller Academy therefore offers not only a wide range of specialist training sessions but also further training for personal development. Coordination is carried out in close cooperation with the employees and is tailored to their respective strengths and desires.

Occupational health management

In order to promote employees and their health, Windmöller has established a detailed health management programme with a range of offers for employees. This includes, for example, free fruit on certain days, ergonomic workspaces, regular massage offerings as well as various corporate events. We also have an arrangement with the sport and wellness provider sportnavi.de. This is a network of, amongst other things, gyms, swimming pools and massage practitioners in the East Westphalia Lippe area, which employees can use as they wish.

Family and work balance

As a family business, we recognise that work and family life are inextricably connected. In order to help with the return to work and to ease the work/family life balance challenges, Windmöller has collaborated with the FABEL family support group in Lippe. This collaboration between the district of Lippe and businesses located here offers advice and support on subjects such as pregnancy and birth, returning to work as well as family support.
